Morning Drink
So often we begin our morning with a cup of coffee or tea which can be acidic. I have found that my body really looks forward to this morning drink which helps alkalize the body:
12 ounces - hot water
2 tablespoons - apple cider vinegar (organic with the "mother")
2 tablespoons - fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon - maple syrup.
I have found that this really helps set my body "right" in the morning and improves my digestion. If this seems too strong for you then you can always half the ingredients and work up to the amount given.
